Trip to Saugatuck and Gr. Rapids

 We took a short trip to Saugatuck when my sister and her husband came for a visit.  This is the restaurant in Fennville we ate at- it's in a train car.

 Our room at the Bed and Breakfast we stayed at and the barn on the grounds.

 Then on to Grand Rapids to see our son and family- Everett at the door!

Pointed Pen Envelopes

 I had an envelope order using gold ink and it came out pretty good- but can't seem to fix the photo the right way.

The Big Helper!

 A big helper- Everett wanted to do his share too- getting the new counter and sink in.

 Yep- wants to be right in there in the middle of everything!  Can't miss a thing!

Herb Garden

Envelope Book

I saw information on making a book for a travel journal using envelopes that I created for a workshop.  The envelopes are stacked and sewn with a nice paper cover.  Then I added a handmade button and a ribbon tie to wrap around the book.

 My sister has a wonderful little moss garden (at the top) and then the little garden in between the porch and garage which stays moist and is just right for the ferns, snow-on-the-mountain, verigated solomon seal, and some sedum plants.

 Rabbit's Foot Fern- you can just make out the little soft stems on the right side...

 She's put some hostas in pots- This is in N. Carolina- the soil is quite red.

Fun over the weekend with Grandson, Everett

 Fun over the weekend!  Mandy brought bubbles for Everett and Yasmine the black lab got into the fun..
