I visited my sister in North Carolina and some of her quilt friends brought quilts to work on one evening. This one was really unique, the technique called stack and whack. And of course I had to add the photo of the cat- Rosie who always has to be included.

Tree Whispers
Pam Paulsrud came to the Center in Palos Park to the luncheon and talked about the Tree Whispers project. She and another artist started it in 2001 making rounds of handmade paper and anyone can write a tree story or quote and they are hung on cord. Check out their web site. These are a few she brought to show. The artists at the Center are making them to have a display.
Indigo Bunting
This bright bird caught my eye-only the second time I've seen the Indigo Bunting! He was sure enjoying the flowers on the wild plum trees.
