Make Your Mark Jounal Pages

In this first one, I put info about our Calligraphy Group. The others include some "practice pages" from classes -one being with Denis Brown!
This journal is supposed to be filled by July and I have a long way to go. Some people have sent theirs to friends in other countries. I'd hoped to get my calligraphy friends to do a page (5x8") to include in mine! I did get some artist friends to do a page and glued them into the book. They will be on display at the LaGrange Art League and some "may" be auctioned off from what I remember.

Rose Breasted Grossbeak

When we first saw this bird on the feeder, all I saw was the black streaked back of him. Then got a look at his beak and then the front! First time ever we've had this bird in our yard! Saw the female then too...

Words for a Just Peace

I was able to make it to this calligraphy show at a UCC Church in Asheville, NC. It was put on by the Carolina Lettering Arts Society.

Flowers from friends

On the road, slowly still, to recovery from surgery. Hopefully after several setbacks, things will go better now.
