My new project- took a quilt class -the pattern is Pineapple Quilt and made of scraps. We all finished three squares- the next two photos are from the other class members. The fabric on the next one they called civil war fabric. The teacher said some people just pull any color out of a bag, but I started kind of a pattern which I'll continue.

My collage is in the Newberry Library Calligraphy Exhibit downtown Chicago from March 11- June 8th. The Newberry address is 60 W Walton. The Artist Reception is Sat April 13, 11:00 - 3:00. Calligraphy demonstrations are until 1:00.
Illuminated prayer now framed in the Saint Jude's church in New Lenox. Here are some details when I was working on it.

New painting -a gate from a house a few blocks away.
Finally getting back to my blog- with photos of the little books we made in my previous class. Last time we made a similar book but used textwove paper and they turned out spectacular! I hope to get photos of the new ones in January when the class starts up again.
